Mr R worked as a self-employed electrician. He was visiting a customer’s premises to do some work and whilst in their factory, was knocked down and run over by a fork-lift truck being driven by his customer’s employee.
Mr R suffered a severe ankle injury in the accident and was in hospital for many weeks and as a result his business suffered.
We were able to visit Mr R in hospital to take his instructions and quickly visited the site of the accident to help establish the facts of the case. We were able to negotiate with the Defendant’s insurers and they admitted responsibility for the accident early on.
Having analysed Mr R’s business accounts and established what financial losses he suffered as a result of being unable to work, we secured an interim payment for him to enable him to keep his business afloat.
